Hear It From Me

I believe you must bring your whole self to the table if you want to thrive in today’s crazy world; your personality, your sense of humor, and most importantly, your heart. All of these elements, along with the passion to help heal my community and forge inclusion outdoors, brought me to unfold Ch8sing Waterfalls. This movement is pain turned, passion turned into purpose that evokes healing.

Ch8sing Waterfalls is a movement which encourages black women in particular and women of color to step outside of the norm and venture into the woods.

Often times black women do not feel safe or acceptance outdoors, or simply cannot afford the essential gear to safely take a hike or participate in outdoor events because

Embr8cing The Ch8se: A Super Dope Sisterhood In Nature

What does it mean to Embr8ce The Ch8se? It is our call to action to embr8ce this supportive sisterhood, to look up at the trees, to embr8ce the sights, and to embr8ce the melodic sounds of the waterfalls. This day is locked in on my calendar because I look forward to seeing familiar face
