About the Event

Ch8sers, we are headed to Becky Branch Falls & Warwoman Dell in North Georgia.

We will leave from Publix 1625 Pleasant Hill Rd #200, Duluth, GA 30096, promptly at 6:45 a.m.  The drive is 1.3hrs.  The trail is 1.4 miles and is considered easy to moderate.  There are stairs and a few inclines.

* We plan to arrive at Warwoman Dell between 8:30 - 8:45 a.m.  The hike will begin promptly at 9:00.  **There is absolutely no cell signal in the Becky Branch or War Woman Dell area.

Ch8sing Waterfalls is an experience.  It is an all day adventure.  We will not rush or hurry the process.  Please do not plan an event the day of the ch8se, as you are not guaranteed to return on time.  We embr8ce the ch8se in a way that welcomes healing and restoration.  There is no rushing universal intentions.  Please keep this in mind.

Please remember to pack any emergency medicine and essentials items.  I recommend you utilize the free RoadID app to allow your emergency contacts to be visible on your phone, in the event it is needed.  Or be sure to have your emergency contacts listed on a piece of paper enclosed in a ziploc bag in your backpack.

Here is a packing guide from REI that I reference:  Day Hiking Check List

** You MUST bring ample hydration and hearty snacks.  I recommend gatorade, powerade, or water with electrolytes. You will want at minimum 48ozs. or three 16oz water bottles.  I will have the Nuun tabs on hand to share.  Additionally, grab some hearty power bars, and protein snacks for energy. *Pack Your Lunch - We will enjoy lunch in the beautiful outdoors at the picnic area on the property.

Our partners Merrell will be present with an opportunity for you to test out the new Moab2 hiker,  with a possibility to win Merrell swag.

Additionally, Ch8sing Waterfalls and Tuesdays for Trash  in celebration of Earth Month will be joining many others for this virtual "Don't Pass the Trash" event to help clean up outdoor spaces. and are picking up trash in an effort to keep our hiking trails and natural areas litter free.

This Saturday's Ch8se participants will receive a bag and gloves to pick up trail trash along the trail to Becky Branch Falls, in Clayton, GA.

If you have friends or family who can't join us in Clayton, but would like to participate wherever they are,  RSVP for the "Don't Pass the Trash" event on Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/dont-pass-the-trash-tickets-148253268517

Every RSVP is an automatic entry to win a FREE Pro ALLTRAILS subscription for one year! Tuesdays for Trash is offering cool, environmentally-friendly stickers.

We want to see ALL the pics. Be sure to use the following hashtags: #dontpassthetrash, #ch8singwaterfalls, #embr8cethech8se, #alltrails, #tuesdaysfortrash #earthmonth, #trailcleanup #LNTprinciples, #packitout #keepnatureclean
