Ch8se Ch 42 - 4.10.21 - The 1st Ch8se Over Nighter

Ch8sers we are leaving GA and headed to Brevard, NC.   Pack appropriately, the drive from our meet up spot is 3 hours.

I recommend you bring your coolers, pack your sandwiches, and hearty foods for the road, and for your room.   

We will be hiking Daniel Ridge Falls Loop, Brevard, NC.  According to AllTrails:  Daniel Ridge Loop is a 5.1 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Brevard, North Carolina that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate.  The reviews recommend we start counter clock wise.  Someone help me remember this. (smile)

It will take us approximately 2.5 - 3hrs to complete this trail with rest stops built in as well as the moments to pause and admire the space. 

** You MUST bring ample hydration and hearty snacks.  I recommend gatorade, powerade, or water with electrolytes. You will want at minimum 48ozs. or three 16oz water bottles.  I will have the Nuun tabs on hand to share.  Additionally, grab some hearty power bars, and protein snacks for energy.

For our GA family, this is an overnight ch8se.  The first of its kind.  Our hotel is Hampton Inn Brevard.  After we explore Daniel Ridge Falls, we will enjoy lunch at Oskar Blue Brewery.   We will identify a dinner spot, and a brunch spot for Sunday later.
