Ch. 54 - Embr8ce The Ch8se

Meet us at Publix, 1625 Pleasant Hill Rd #200, Duluth, GA 30096 at 6:45 for a 7:15 departure and 9:15 arrival at Amicalola State Park, 280 Amicalola Falls State Park Rd, Dawsonville, GA 30534, USA.

Amicalola Falls Loop is a 2.5 mile heavily trafficked loop trail that features a waterfall.  The trail is primarily used for hiking and nature trips.  The 2.5 miles trail is moderate to strenuous in difficulty.

A Moderate to Intermediate trail is suitable for those in good physical condition; active/endurance walker; 3+hr duration; 1000-1500ft elevation gain

What to Bring *  

Water, water, water  

Dress Warm, bring gloves, hat and warm jacket.  

Please start to hydrate on Friday by drinking extra fluids. Your body will appreciate this during the hike.  

Please wear hiking boots if at all possible.  

       *Ch8sing Waterfalls has a rental library of select sizes.  You can request loaners during registration for this event.

Bring hiking poles.  *Ch8sing Waterfalls has loaner poles if needed.  

Bring water and or Gatorade to drink during the hike. 

We cannot express how important it is to stay hydrated.
