About the Event

6:45 A.M. Meetup at: Ingles, 5055 Cherokee Street, Acworth, GA 30101

Trail: 2.5 - 3 Miles 1.5 - 2 hours to complete depending on rest stops.

Generally considered a moderately challenging route. This is a popular trail for hiking and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day.

Trail Difficulty: Moderate/Intermediate: Suitable for those in good physical condition; active/endurance walker; 3+hr duration; 1000-1500ft elevation gain. Though Big Rock Nature Trail is a short trail in distance, the rocky scramble involved earns this route a "moderate" rating, as sections of the hike would be challenging for beginning hikers or anyone unaccustomed to scrambling over rocky and uneven surfaces.
