About the Event
6:00a.m. - Meet at Publix, 1625 Pleasant Hill Rd #200, Duluth, GA 30096.
6:15a.m. - We will depart Publix, promptly
7:00a.m. - Pit stop at RaceTrac, 2410 Cornelia Hwy, Gainesville, GA 30501
7:15a.m. - Depart RaceTrac to Dry Falls: US-64, Highlands, NC 28741
9:00a.m. - Arrive at Dry Falls
*This itinerary is subject to be altered a little bit in May, after we scout. Â Stay tuned for the updates.
Our ch8se adventures will begin at Dry Falls, followed by Bridal Veil Falls and finishing at Glen Falls, all in North Carolina. Â We may be able to see Cullasuja Falls on the side of the road during our drive, which we will slow down for passengers to capture it's beauty.
The hike itself will take roughly an hour to two hours, depending on how we #embr8cethech8se.
Trail Difficult: This adventure will take us to three separate waterfalls. Â The first two locations are easy, you will not need hiking poles for the first two. The third location is mild to moderate and will require your hiking stick or pole.

What to Bring *  Check out our partners REI's Day Hike Packing List to help you prepare.
- Water, and/or Gatorade or electrolyte water with adequate hydration. Bring at least 64 ozs. Â You must have 8-16 ozs with you in your backpack, on the trail. Â We cannot express how important it is to stay hydrated
- Please start to hydrate on Friday by drinking extra fluids. Your body will appreciate this during the hike. Â Especially in the summer.
- A backpack with hiking essentials, and emergency medication.
- Please wear hiking boots.Â
- Bring recovery shoes (sandals, or sneakers for the drive home) We also recommend a grocery bag to place your wet/muddy boots in.Â
- Bring hiking poles.
- If you do not wear a RoadiD please have your emergency contact information sealed in a zip lock bag and placed where it can easily be located if an emergency should occur.Â
- Pack a small cooler with snacks, ice and extra water for the trip there and back.
- Pack your lunch and something to sit on. Bring an empty plastic bag for your trash. Â We practice the the rule of thumb to leave no trace. Whatever you bring in, you take out.
- Please dress for the weather. Â Layers are recommended.
- I recommend you bringing a dry towel, top, and/or jacket. Â Dry falls will afford an opportunity for us to get extremely close with the potential to get wet.

Bring your lunch. We will have lunch at the park after the hike. (*Weather permitting)
